Add ability to document follow-up work with multiple documents, including preparer and reviewer sign-off in TeamCentral implementation instead of having to use EWP.
Currently, a Project Owner can go in to their Project Policies and change up various policies. For instance, I'm ok (as an Admin) if they want to ignore the Assignment restrictions, however, as an Admin, I'm not ok with them setting it to allow the project to be finalized/closed with errors/warnings, or that the Reviewer and Preparer can be the same person. I can see where that CAN be helpful, but at times, we do NOT... more »
I recommend that TeamMate incorporate a tool that can be accessed within workpapers to calculate audit thresholds for analytic testing, and be used to determine selection size based on materiality and risk factors. This tool could be integrated with a built in materiality calculator.
Would be great to see history of programs and who changed what in TeamStore or the system captures enhancements made to programs in TeamStore
Create some basic training material within TeamMate that contains some commonly used terms, business processes, audit steps and documentation language so that new auditors can understand what audit means and what needs to be done. This should of course then be substantiated with audit trainings. The training could also include commonly used audit terms, FS assertions, types of controls and hot concepts (SAS 70 reviews... more »
An alternative or in addition to providing additional Folder layer capability in TeamMate, is the abillity to number our own WP's, and/or allow numbering three decimals deep, if two decimal deep exists to provide ability to identify parent/subordinate WP relationships. For example, WP C.2.1.1 would support WP C.2.1. Currently we have instances of upwards 200+ documents in one folder and no ability to determine which... more »
Many times multiple people work on a workpaper. Provide a comment box along with the signoff so individual signing can indicate which work was performed by each individual.
Having the ability to trend issues over the course of time by site, audit type, sub-process, etc. and summarizing the numbers/types of issues. For example, if looking at a particular site, an auditor could run a history of issues report that lists by sub-process (rows) and audit year (columns) the number of issues discovered. This would allow for site/region/company trending of key risk areas over time. This could also... more »
It would be helpful if findings and other metrics could be consolidated and totalled to assist in Audit Committee reporting. For example, totallingthe findings by level by audit type, etc. These pivot table-esque reports could be customizable baed on department specifics. This would be a level down from the audit plan monitoring/status reporting already available. More like summarized results reporting.
The teammate report is not user friendly when using different types of fonts. Like any other application it doesn't have any room for those fonts which have different character type( like our Amharic fonts). therefore It is difficult to generate report automatically using the fonts.
I use the "Issue Viewer" in EWP to create audit findings. The text included in the Issue is ultimately what will end up in the audit report. I use EWP's reporting feature to extract the text from the Issues viewer and put it into a Word document that is formatted appropriately for our reports. Although the reporting wizard extracts the hyperlinks from the Issue and places them into the Word doc, the links are no longer... more »
It would be nice to have the option to set the schedule for the audits for the entire company fiscal year. Our company does not schedule audits for a particular time frame. Currently it is manual where we have to change the date for every audit for our fiscal year when we are adding new projects. It would save time to allow something in the policies for those that do not need the exact date schedule feature.
In the project listing under "Project Search" it would be nice if those with admin access can edit by right clicking. Sometimes the audit name may change or there could be a typo. It would be quicker then going in to the "Edit Project"
It would be nice to have an excel document where we list out the audits in the new FY's audit plan that can be simply uploaded in TM versus manually entering each project one by one. TM can create a template in a particular format with TM friendly headings (code, title, type, etc.) that we can use to make sure the upload can work. This would help save time every new year.
Merge the functionality/view, etc., from TeamSchedule Web into TEC.
