Our team would find it useful if there was a method by which the assigned quality assurance reviewer (not usually the project manager) could be notified that a project/programme/workpaper is ready for review. We would suggest an addition to the EWP dashboard which identifies which projects have any items which require reviewing (perhaps an icon). This would allow the relevant audit supervisor to review any amendements... more »
We have some standard contacts set up in the EWP template which include the management team, a read only account and a few other accounts for various roles that we ustilse (the idea is that certain individuals have access to all files). Currently if there are any changes, for example a change of managers, I need to update the template and update each of the current files individually. Security groups are already used... more »
A sign off policy that establish the time between the prepare sign off and the reviewer sign of ant the time between first reviewer and the second reviewer. And reminder when those time are finishing.
A Module or TM Store in a global database. Where the users maintain and update the permanent files for all entities. Those files can link to procedure, work paper and risk. Those files can be update from the auditor or by the client contacts through a Web Base application.
Bring back the ability to add new contacts to an EWP project without having to go through TeamAdmin. I didn't have to add this one until we went to release 10.1. In prior versions of TM, all auditors were able to add new contacts through the project profile in EWP. If you didn't want this functionality enabled, you restricted it through the global policies. Now that this has been removed as an option, I now have 30... more »
We have some workpapers stored in the EWP Template file. Ocassionally, we have needed to amend the papers or add new ones. This is fine where all you need to do is update the template, but if files have already been created, than you manually have to go into each file and perfom the updates. A method of automatically pushing these changes out to the files or selecting which files to push the changes to would be hughly... more »
Capability to send auto generated email to an auditor when manager assign new or add an audit program/procedure for an auditor which he has to perform.
I would find it most helpful if I am able to replicate or merge replicas without having to log in and out. The system should be able to use my AD login to authenticate that I am authorized to create replicas and merge replicas without having to launch the project.
Lise McGillis from our team suggested that TeamMate requires versioning implemented for their projects. If a file becomes corrupted or data is loss, we should have an ability to recover from a previous version easily. Today, I have to restore the entire database and hope that the file was there in the database I just restored. That's not practical. With multiple users on a single project, I should be able to go back... more »
R10 - It does not seem that the floating toolbar remembers where you put it. Each time I open EWP it pops up to the mid-upper left. In previous versions, it always remembered where I placed it and each time I started EWP it would be there.
R10 View tab - add a button to collapse All. Once you expand all, you have to collapse one by one because if you collapse at top level and just want to expand 1 level, it will expand all levels. Collapse All will make them roll back up.
We often use screenshots (or crops thereof) from e.g. our ERP system to support our audit documentation. Would be great if it was possible to insert these directly in the textfields in the procedures in EWP. As it is now you have to insert a Word document containing the screenshots/crops, which require additional time for both preparing and reviewing the work completed.
My suggestion is to create the ability to associate risk and/or controls to a procedure. This could be done the same way you assign a procedure to an auditor i.e. create two fields in the procedure just below the "Assign" field named "Associate risk" and "Associate control" - each field containing a drop down list (or hyperlink) to the risk and control view. It should be possible to select multiple risks and/or controls.... more »
In EWP, it would be beneficial to hyperlink multiple workpapers at a time. A good example of this is that we scan the exceptions we find during our testing, and currently, each exception must be hyperlinked individually to the testing sheet.
Within EWP when a user selects a custom report it would be useful to see a preview of the format of the report. I am frequently asked for descriptions and the "best report" to use. It would be helpful if you could show a preview as the custom report is selected. This would help users choose the right report format.
