  Customized Reports

  A nice tool would be a report creation tool. Something where you could have predetermined boxes that you can drag and drop into a report. For instance, there could be various header options that you can drag in (similar to microsoft office) or you can create your own customized header. For instance, there could be various header options that you can drag in (similar to microsoft office) or you can create your own customized header. Then you drop in the box where you would like it to appear on the report. Once this has been fully created, you could save it as a template, and then run the report automatically out of EWP. There should be some functionality within these boxes, such as information that populates automatically.

  For instance, if it were possible to have the entity name populate automatically in the aforementioned "headers" box, that would be beneficial. Additionally, there could be drag and drop boxes for Issues, Recommendations, and obviously the findings would just populate out of EWP. Same could go for a box that includes team members. I could probably go on about this idea for days, but I think you get the idea. It helps with customized audit reports, especially for special projects which do not fit into the scope of a normal financial or operational audit.

A simple tool could be created that would allow a user to create reports and include any field within the Teammate schema by dragging that field onto the template provided. The reports could be cross module. That is, they could include fields from any table available in the Teammate suite (TeamCentral, EWP, and TeamSchedule being the main three).The created report could then be kept personal in the users reporting tool or shared in TeamStore or other Teammate module for the entire Audit Group to use.

  The functionality in the above idea could be included in the same tool with a check box or button to "Create EWP Report", "Create TeamCentral Report", "Create TeamSchedule Report", "Create Personal Report". I know this would likely cut down on the fees charged for the reporting function that Teammate currently provides. You could potentially offset that by charging a nominal fee for this added functionality.

  Notification for user (Preparer/ Reviewer)

  Have TeamMate EWP automatically notify user that something is waiting for his/her action for workflow to continue. R10 sort address it but pops, emails or any other medium of notification would be a nice addition

  Multiple Computer Monitor Capabilities

  For TeamMate users that user multiple computer monitors, allow more than one EWP window to be opened. This would help with the comparison of two projects or the comparison with prior years' audit projects.

  Add an Archive Function

  Create a way to easily archive an entire year's audits, so the TeamMate suite can be lean and capture only the current audits in work. However, the archive is accessible if/when prior year audits need to be revisited.

  Quality Assurance Review Feature for Team Leaders & Audit Mgr

  It would be good for teammate to add a feature/suite which allows Audit Managers and Team Leaders to be able to assess working papers and reports against existing IA Standards/International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. This would be good for quality assurance purpose because every so often current files, work papers and other such audit work documents are not properly checked by Team Leaders ...more »

  It would be good for teammate to add a feature/suite which allows Audit Managers and Team Leaders to be able to assess working papers and reports against existing IA Standards/International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. This would be good for quality assurance purpose because every so often current files, work papers and other such audit work documents are not properly checked by Team Leaders and there are varying methods utilized in carrying out reviews. What the feature would do is standardize how work papers are reviewed and assessed specific to the standards. This will also add greater value to the audit process. This could be in the format of a compliance checklist.

  TeamImage

  I feel that TeamImage needs to be redesigned or build another platform for supporting images and PDF files. The new design should allow for better editing functionality (including hyperlinking), as well as a better viewing pane. This is used extensively by our department, yet not much is ever invested into this area of EWP.

  Report Distribution Formats

  I think CIAs, CAEs or heads of internal audit units would be glad for a feature which allows them to be able to generate reports in various formats depending on the audience; for example single pagers, executive summary only, full report or issues only.

  Audit Tracker

  It would be good to have a feature which allows the audit department to be able to track the number of executed audits per year and also give a comparison of completed audits for other years. The comparison could be detailed right down to each month.

Internal Audit needs to utilize platforms consistent with our organization. This will also increase our effectiveness in audits surrounding digital strategies of the organization. Internal Audit needs to utilize platforms consistent with our organization. This will also increase our effectiveness in audits surrounding digital strategies of the organization. As well, we have a significant amount of audit work that happens out of our offices and in environments that makes even working from a laptop cumbersome. Having the ability to work through the entire teammate suite, including integration to worksheet and word processing documents, would significantly improve our productivity and effectiveness.

  Folders

  Allow for multiple subfolders. We often have hundreds of workpapers in an audit objective. Using the results/conclusions/references tabs allows for a decent summary of workpapers for an audit step, but if we were able to add multiple subfolders to better categorize workpapers in audit steps, it would save much time when trying to locate a specific document placed in TeamMate if the ARC is not remembered or the document ...more »

Using the results/conclusions/references tabs allows for a decent summary of workpapers for an audit step, but if we were able to add multiple subfolders to better categorize workpapers in audit steps, it would save much time when trying to locate a specific document placed in TeamMate if the ARC is not remembered or the document was placed in TeamMate early in the audit, not used often and then needs referenced in the audit report.

  Allow for Teammate to Pull Previous Issues For Remediation

  When performing update/remediation testing for an audit issue, allow for the pulling of the previous issue along with the TeamCentral status to be imported and up-datable within an audit in EWP.

  Direct input of Exceptions in Team Central

  We currently follow up on issues raised by external auditors and shareholder companies but these audit were not done by us or entered in EWP. We should be able to enter issues directly in TC for tracking

  Training (CPE) Log

  It would be nice if TEC would keep track of CPE earned for the year and CPE still needed-based on timesheet input. There could be a field for CPE earned when you select a "training" field for time, and a field to record the details of the course. Then you could report on it at the end of the year with all the information necessary for CPE reporting.

  Conversational Coaching Notes

  Allow for Reviewer and Preparer to comment on a single CN more than once and have it retain their edit history. Ex:

  Reviewer: "Add w/p XYZ to the B.1 & ref it in the B.1.PRG step(s)."

  Preparer: It has already been added to A.1 folder

  Reviewer: Great, then please add hyperlink to B.1.PRG step(s).

  Preparer: I've hyperlinked the w/ps to two steps.

  Ability to hide categories

  Add functionality in TeamAdmin to hide/retire categories throughout the suit.

  This would make it possible to keep old categories for historic purposes and yet not present users with huge lists of selectable categories that are no longer in use.

  Working with Multiple Projects

  It is often necessary to have more than one EWP project opened at the same time. It would be more efficient if we can have multiple tabs (status bar) on the bottom of EWP to allow quick switching between open projects.
